Is it ever too early to talk about Christmas on The Dizzying Heights? Never! I don’t really participate in writing Christmas Gift Guides on my blog (although I do love reading them so maybe one day!) but I love highlighting brands that I think my readers would like and would actually benefit from.
Enter: Prestige Hampers. I’ve worked with this brand previously (read my previous posts here and here) and they are just brilliant. Their products are good quality and I feel like you get good value for money too. I’ve ordered from their website previously too and their delivery and customer service has always been great.
This year, I was lucky enough to be sent the Winter Wonderland Hamper* which currently retails at £129.99 and includes the following:
- Silver Creek Chardonnay 75cl
- Silver Creek Shiraz 75cl
- Ringtons Earl Grey 25’s
- Yorkshire Crisps Oyster Chilli & Lemon Crisps 100g
- Guylian Sea Shells 6 Choc Window Box 65g
- Grandma Wilds Xmas Pudding Biscuits Tube 150g
- Original Cake Co. Chocolate Yule Log Full Slab 400g
- Grandma Wilds Mini Bites Mature Cheddar 100g
- Tiptree Chutney 38g
- Tiptree Orange Fine Cut Orange Marmalade 42g
- Tiptree Blackcurrant Preserve 42g
- Edinburgh Tea & Coffee Christmas Coffee 56g
- Walkers Dark Chocolate Classics 120g
And of course not to mention that you have a large grey wicker basket that is yours to use for storage or just looking pretty on a shelf (mine is currently underneath my bed with a tonne of skincare products in it!).
I think these hampers make such wonderful gifts, not even just for Christmas but all year round (although the specific Christmas hampers are very festive and are my favourites!). They’re perfect for the foodie in your life as they contain great sweet and savoury gifts that the recipient can use whenever they fancy and usually includes wine (any gift that includes wine has my vote!). I really like that they use British brands too – it’s a great way to find more small businesses and discover great British brands. With the way this year has affected small businesses, this is a great way to support them as well as purchase a great gift.
If you were feeling particularly bougie (and why not after the year that we have had?!), you could purchase a hamper like this for yourself at home and use the treats during the run-up to the Big Day – it’s the perfect treat.
I also love the way the gift is packaged – I was so excited to receive and delve into my hamper so can you imagine the excitement if you received it as a gift?! Prestige Hampers take pride in the appearance of their packages and it really shows.
What do you think of hampers as a Christmas gift idea? Would you buy one for a loved one or keep it for yourself?
