9 to 5: The Musical: The Review | AD – Gifted*

With every new show I watch in London, I genuinely feel like each show is better than the last. I’m super lucky to be working with London Box Office, who have given me some amazing opportunities to watch the best shows in the West End. The latest show I watched was 9 to 5: The Musical* and it was honestly just brilliant.

I had never seen the film with Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, but judging by this musical, it is bloody hilarious and a pretty relatable story, especially for women in this day and age (pretty ironic considering the film was released in 1980 but hey ho).

The storyline was easy to follow, there were so many laugh-out-loud moments (in fact I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much in a musical!), and most importantly, the cast were absolutely fantastic. I’m gutted I didn’t get to see Amber Davies and Louise Redknapp as they’re on the UK tour of the show, but the current cast in London were absolutely incredible.

I honestly could not recommend this show highly enough, go and watch it before it moves on!

Which shows would you recommend to watch in London?
